Hola a todos!

This is just a note to let me say THANK YOU. Just plain, ordinary THANK YOU. Why am saying THANK YOU so randomly and out of the blue? Well I'll tell you.

It seems to me that we don't say THANK YOU enough. Especially to those we care about and would probably die if we didn't have them with us.

I mean sure, we say THANK YOU to those people when we borrow a pen or get a nice compliment, or receive a nice gift for Chirstmas or Birthdays or any other time. We've been taught that since even before pre-school, its no big. But how many times do we say THANK YOU to the pen-lenders, the gift-givers, or the nice compliment-givers in lets say, the space of a week, for just simply being those people? For simply just being friends? For simply just being there to make fun of you when you have a random blonde moment? For bringing you back down to Earth when you let something trivial get you wound up into space? For calming you down when you're stressed up the wazzoo? For holding you when you cry? For listening when you talk? For not letting you down when you fail to show up somewhere or do somthing you promised you would? For forgiving you when you act like a jerk? For just loving you enough to say "screw it" to all your faults and flaws and hang out with you anyway? You've gotta admit it, it's pretty amazing of them, those people. So amazing you often wonder-- "Am I to them what they are to me? Am I helping them when they need me, or am I just taking and not giving back?" Hmmmm.....that's somthing to think on.

So I think we better start saying more THANK YOUs. So I'm going to try (anyway) to start a new trend. So THANK YOU gift-givers. THANK YOU pen-lenders. THANK YOU nice compliment-givers. THANK YOU friends. You are the greatest. THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU.
